In corporate marketing we use a variety of resources and information channels to strike the right balance and mix in our choice of activities and advertising media. Every year we commission a number of client surveys and research reports and, of course, we also talk to and listen to a wide range of clients.

Our sales tools, including the Meeting Facilities Directory, ads in Meeting & Events magazine and newspaper supplements, our brand websites, our strategic partnership with MPI (Meeting Professionals International) and MCI, organised events, the B2B e-mail newsletter and MICE trade shows support our online and print activities.

At Rezidor, we believe in the professional development of our employees and to this end, Rezidor partnered with MPI to train and give our employees the right tools to make meetings and events a success.

Our ambitious Meetings & Events programmes, distinctive for Radisson Blu and Park Inn by Radisson, have customer care at the core and are designed to lift an already impressive market share. A wide range of innovative tools are available to aid the sales process and grow revenue; these include the brand website, membership of MPI the Radisson Blu meetings image brochure and the multi-brand elements such as the Meetings Facilities Directory, the Meetings newspaper and the Rezidor Hotel Directory.
We continue to build our B2B database with regular email newsletters and take initiatives to grow the database.

Club CarlsonSM, our global loyalty programme, offers Points for Planners, a special programme that awards Gold Points® to meeting planners organising events at Radisson Blu, and Park Inn by Radisson hotels.

In the UK, Radisson Blu is the leading choice hotel brand for meetings and the number one brand 'would recommend' amongst both agents and corporate organisers (Business Development Research Consultants meetings research 2008).
